When the public water supply can't keep up with demand, or local plumbing codes require a break tank to prevent backflow into the mains, a booster pump alone isn't enough. The Dab Pumps EsyTank 500 Mini is a 480-liter auxiliary tank purpose-built to work seamlessly with the EsyBox Mini 3 pump, storing and supplying water while serving as a break tank between the pump set and the mains supply. Note: the pump is not included — EsyTank 500 Mini is the tank only, sold ready for use with a DAB EsyBox Mini 3 (purchased separately).
The tank is recommended for three common situations: meeting demand when the public water supply runs short, acting as a break tank where direct-suction pumping isn't permitted (preventing backflow contamination into the city water supply), and serving as an intermediate storage point in tall buildings to separate a pressure boosting system into multiple zones. Paired with EsyBox Mini 3, it creates a complete, energy-efficient boosting system with a smaller footprint than conventional setups, sized to fit through smaller doorways such as those leading to cellars.
EsyTank 500 Mini arrives fitted with EsyDock Mini for quick connection, along with a suction pipe with foot valve and a delivery line. It's suitable for use with drinking water, built from recycled materials, and includes a mains filling valve with an unrestricted air-gap float for backflow prevention in line with UNI EN 1717. Four slots in the base allow secure ground anchoring, and an included inspection cap and insect guard simplify long-term maintenance. The modular design also allows tanks to be installed on three sides — at the back and on either side — for future expansion.
