What devices can I control with the DST-1?
The DST-1 can control any standard heating or cooling device that runs on 100–240 VAC and draws no more than 10 amps. This includes space heaters, portable air conditioners, and fans. As long as the device operates within these electrical parameters, the DST-1 will provide full on/off control through your TrolMaster controller.
What do the different LED colors mean?
- Fast blinking green: Module is not addressed or connection is lost.
- Slow blinking green: Module is connected and the device is currently OFF.
- Solid green: Module is connected and the device is currently ON.
- Blinking red: Overload detected. Unplug to reset.
How do I link the DST-1 to my controller?
After connecting via RJ12 cable, press the button on the module once. The LED will change from fast blinking to slow blinking green to indicate a successful link.
Can I manually override the station?
Yes. Press and hold the button on the DST-1 to manually toggle the connected device on or off independently of the controller's current program.
What happens if the station is overloaded?
If the device draws more than 10A, the LED will blink red and trigger protection. Unplug the unit to reset it and ensure your device is within the 10A limit before reconnecting.
