What kind of growing media should I use?+

The AutoPot system is extremely versatile. For best results, we recommend a high-porosity, light, and fluffy mix. A 50/50 blend of perlite with either coco coir or soil is ideal. Avoid using soil or compost that compacts easily, as this can hinder aeration.

How does the AQUAvalve work?+

The AQUAvalve is a simple but brilliant float valve. It opens to allow water and nutrient solution into the tray to a depth of 20mm. Once that level is reached, it shuts off and will not reopen until the plants have absorbed all the solution from the tray. This creates the essential wet-and-dry cycle that plants love.

What makes the 'XL' pots different from the standard ones?+

The XL pots have a 25-liter (6.6-gallon) capacity, significantly larger than the standard 15-liter pots. This extra volume allows for a much larger root mass, which is perfect for growing bigger, long-term specimen plants and achieving larger yields. Can I expand this system in the future?+

How often do I need to refill the 225L FlexiTank?+

This depends on the size of your plants, the stage of growth, and your environment's temperature and humidity. With 12 large plants in full bloom, you might need to refill it every 5-10 days. For smaller plants, it could last for weeks. The key benefit is that you only need to check the reservoir, not each individual plant.
