How does the AutoPot system work without electricity?+

The system is entirely gravity-fed. The AQUAvalve in each tray controls the flow from the reservoir. When the water level in the tray is depleted by the plant, the valve opens to refill it to a preset level and then closes, all without needing any pumps or timers.

What growing media can I use with the 4Pot XL system?+

AutoPot systems are extremely versatile. For best results, we recommend a 50/50 mix of perlite with either coco coir or soil. Avoid using soil or compost that is too dense, as it can impede drainage and aeration.

Can I expand this system later?+

Absolutely. The 4Pot XL is designed for easy expansion. You can connect more pots to the same reservoir using extension kits. If you know you'll need more capacity, you might consider starting with a larger setup like the AutoPot 6Pot XL System or the 8Pot XL System.

What is the benefit of the AQUAvalve's wet and dry cycle?+
