What are the benefits of FlexiPots over traditional plastic pots?+

FlexiPots are made of a porous fabric that allows roots to be 'air-pruned' when they reach the edge. This prevents root circling and encourages the growth of a healthier, more fibrous root mass, leading to better nutrient absorption and bigger yields compared to conventional plastic pots.

Does this system require electricity or a water pump?+

No. The AutoPot FlexiPot system is completely power-free. It operates on a simple gravity feed from the reservoir, and the patented AQUAvalve5 in each tray controls the flow of water to the plants without needing any pumps, timers, or electricity.

What is the best growing medium for this system?+

For best results, we recommend a high-aeration, low-compression medium. A 50/50 mix of coco coir and perlite or a high-quality potting soil mixed with perlite works exceptionally well. Avoid using soil that compacts easily, as it can hinder the system's wicking action.

How often will I need to refill the 100L FlexiTank?+

Refill frequency depends on the size and growth stage of your plants, as well as your environment's temperature and humidity. However, the large 100L (25 Gal) reservoir can often last for one to two weeks, giving you peace of mind and freedom from daily watering.

Can I expand this system in the future?+

Absolutely. The modular design makes it easy to expand. You can add more pots to your existing setup or link multiple systems together. We offer various sizes, from the smaller FlexiPot XL 4-Pot System to the larger FlexiPot XL 8-Pot System, to fit any grow space.

What is the purpose of the included PotSocks?+

The PotSock is a root control disc that is fitted to the base of each FlexiPot. It prevents roots from growing out of the pot and potentially interfering with the AQUAvalve, ensuring the system continues to operate flawlessly throughout your grow cycle.
