XTrays Rolling Bench

Fixed bench layouts require a permanent walkway between every row for grower access. Rolling benches eliminate this by allowing each bench to slide laterally, consolidating all row access into a single moveable aisle. This converts previously unusable walkway space into productive canopy area — up to 50% more usable space from the same room footprint.

Each bench can roll 8 inches to the left and 8 inches to the right from its centre position. This 16" total range of lateral movement is enough to open a full-width access aisle between any two adjacent benches, allowing you to reach any row in the room without a permanently open walkway.

The 4' × 8' bench is compatible with the XTrays Classic Flood Table (available in Grey, Black, and White), as well as the 4×8 Trellis Support. The 5' × 10' bench is compatible with the XTrays 5×10 Grey tray and the 5×10 Trellis Support. Trays and trellis supports are sold separately.

Raising the crop off the floor on benches creates an open air channel beneath the canopy, improving circulation throughout the room. This makes it easier for your HVAC and dehumidification systems to reduce humidity and maintain target conditions — particularly compared to ground-level growing where stagnant air beneath the canopy creates persistent humidity management challenges and drives up energy consumption.

The standard XTrays Rolling Bench ships with legs at 26" height. XTrays offers a 12-inch Bench Leg Kit as a separate accessory for growers who need a lower working surface — either for ergonomic reasons or to maximise vertical canopy space in rooms with lower ceiling clearance.

Both the 4' × 8' and 5' × 10' Rolling Benches are backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.
