Who This Is For
- You are adding automated enrichment because manual regulator adjustments lead to erratic CO2 levels across the day.
- You are linking exhaust fans to your climate controller because relying on timed vents wastes expensive gas.
What We Found
- The 3-prong plug connection is a huge win for reliability because it prevents the module from vibrating loose.
- The simple one-button addressing saves you time when you are troubleshooting a large setup with multiple stations.
What Users Say
- Users who added this to their controller say they stopped seeing CO2 fluctuations once they automated their injection.
- Growers report that having a status LED at the module saved them from checking the main controller to find a fault.
TrolMaster DSC-1 CO2 Device Station
Precision CO2 management is the difference between a good harvest and a legendary one. The TrolMaster DSC-1 CO2 Device Station eliminates the guesswork of manual adjustments by integrating your CO2 regulators, burners, or exhaust fans directly into your TrolMaster Hydro-X HCS-1 Grow Tent Control system. This allows for fully automated enrichment and venting based on real-time sensor readings, ensuring your plants always have the optimal environment for growth.
Built for professional-grade reliability, the DSC-1 supports global voltage standards (100–240 VAC) at up to 10 amps, making it compatible with almost any CO2 hardware on the market. It features a secure 3-prong attaching plug to prevent accidental power loss and a color-coded LED for instant status updates. With its simple RJ12 plug-and-play setup, you can transform your standalone CO2 equipment into a smart, responsive component of your environmental control strategy.
Compatibility: TrolMaster Hydro-X, Carbon-X, Green-X, and Tent-X Systems
All DS-type modules support global plug types. Check the DS Modules Plug List (linked below) to confirm compatibility with your country's outlet standard before ordering.

FAQs
The DSC-1 is designed for two primary use cases: controlling supplemental CO2 injection devices (such as CO2 regulators, solenoid valves, or CO2 burners) and controlling CO2 exhaust equipment (such as fans or dampers used to vent excess CO2). Any device running on 100–240 VAC at up to 10 amps can be connected and controlled via the module.
Yes — the DSC-1 is compatible with the TrolMaster Carbon-X, as well as the Hydro-X, Green-X, and Tent-X platforms. The Carbon-X is TrolMaster's dedicated CO2 controller, making the DSC-1 a natural pairing for growers who run a standalone CO2 management system alongside their primary environmental controller.
The 3-prong attaching plug provides a mechanically secure connection between the DSC-1 and the connected device's power cord. Unlike a standard outlet where a plug can work loose over time, the 3-prong design locks the connection in place — reducing the risk of accidental disconnection that could interrupt CO2 delivery or exhaust control during a critical stage of the grow cycle.
- Fast blinking green: The module has not yet been addressed to the controller, or the connection is lost. Press the button to link it.
- Slow blinking green: The module is addressed and connected, and the device is currently OFF.
- Solid green: The module is addressed, connected, and the device is currently ON.
- Blinking red: The module has been overloaded. Unplug it from the wall to reset, then verify your device's amp draw is within the 10A limit before reconnecting.
After connecting the DSC-1 via RJ12 cable, press the small button on the module once. This links it to your TrolMaster controller. A successful connection is confirmed when the LED shifts from fast blinking green to slow blinking green, indicating the module is addressed and standing by for controller commands.
